We are seeking a skilled video editing specialist to join our team. As a key member of our creative department, you will play a vital role in the production and delivery of high-quality video content.
Job RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in video editing, with experience in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Avid Media Composer.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in graphic design and motion graphics is desirable but not essential.
As a video editing specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Selecting soundbites, b-roll, and music to fulfill project scripts, while ensuring best practices in video editing, audio mixing, and color correction.
- Editing and packaging new and existing videos, with a focus on quick turnaround and high quality.
- Assisting in the maintenance, use, distribution, and storage of all video, audio, lighting, photography, and equipment.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and software, and implementing new technologies as required.
- Collaborating with the project lead to develop concepts, edit video footage, and create motion graphics such as bumpers, lower thirds, and info-graphics.
