About the Role

We are seeking a skilled India Tax Manager to join our team at DuPont. As a key member of our tax function, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Indian tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file India direct and indirect taxes in accordance with statutory requirements.
  2. Audit Support: Attend tax audits and respond to issues raised by tax authorities.
  3. Tax Savings Opportunities: Pursue opportunities to minimize tax liabilities through complex research and analysis.
  4. Tax Accounting: Perform tax accounting tasks to support monthly/annual tax provision calculations and financial statement reviews.
  5. Country Tax Strategy: Develop and implement country tax strategies to support business decisions and operations.
  6. Collaboration: Partner with sites or businesses to identify and resolve local and international tax problems.
  7. Team Leadership: Guide and prioritize activities of individual contributors and work independently with minimal guidance.
  8. International Collaboration: Work with other areas/country tax organization for local/international tax compliance and problem-solving.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, business management, or economics.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in tax, corporate accounting, and reporting in public accounting and corporate finance/tax environments.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of best practices, ability to manage multiple priorities, perform complex tax/accounting analysis, and effectively communicate results.
  • Certifications: India or international CPA/CTA certification.
