Corporate Communications Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Corporate Communications professional to lead our communications strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media relations, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a leadership role or 11 years of relevant experience in mass communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key members of the print and electronic media to enhance our image through timely and wide coverage of news, events, and achievements.
  • Maintain amicable business relationships with institutions such as APNS, PBA, PID, MoIB, and MoE.
  • Stay updated on changes in APNS / PID / PBA rules and regulations by communicating regularly with their officials and guide the team accordingly.
  • Oversee communications to the media, including preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other content initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between the media fraternity and our organization to ensure accurate information is presented with proper facts and figures.
  • Supervise and facilitate media relations outreach for special events, programs, and major initiatives.
  • Organize and attend media meets, dinner/lunch meets with media personnel on behalf of our organization.
  • Write pitches, backgrounders, press releases, key messages, blog posts, and articles that portray a positive image of our organization.
  • Support the development of main message points for better positioning prior to media interviews.
  • Prepare speeches, talk points, and various communications materials assisting our company spokesperson.
  • Ensure strategic media placements that support corporate reputation and business goals.
  • In case of emergencies or special events within the company, lead the dissemination of timely and correct information to external stakeholders.
  • Promote a favorable company image at important events and forums.
  • Act as an internal consultant providing advice and guidance to other departments on matters affecting the public image of our company.
  • Oversee translations of documents as required, supervising the team to ensure adherence to guidelines.
  • Maintain close liaison with the media monitoring agency tracking company/industry-related news/advertisements.
  • Develop a communication strategy for our organization aligning with our vision, mission, and business strategy, submitting it to senior management for approval.
  • Prevent negative news from airing by employing a proactive approach to ensure balanced viewpoints in all stories.
  • Supervise the preparation and release of responses/rebuttals from our company's side.

Requirements
