About the Role

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project, including requirements gathering, project planning and timeline management, resource allocation, vendor coordination, customer and internal communication, issue resolution, cost tracking, and change management.

Additionally, the Project Coordinator ensures that delivered projects meet quality standards, timelines, and client expectations. Success in this position is measured by project profitability and overall client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate multiple simultaneous small client projects across various company specialties.
  • Maintain overall accountability for the project team and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Create and nurture client relationships to facilitate current and future work.
  • Participate in client and internal meetings to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Support senior project managers in larger projects or programs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Identify and communicate risks through agreed-upon project communication plans.
Managing Third-Party Vendors
  • Regularly communicate with customers to manage expectations and maintain relationships.
  • Track costs and manage project scope to ensure profitability.
  • Provide support to the team as needed.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within IT or managed services.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure networks, desktop systems, communication systems, and cloud services.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including patience and ability to manage expectations.
  • Demonstrated organizational and follow-up skills, including detail orientation.
