Financial Accountant

A Financial Accountant is required to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization.

  • The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

  • Tax compliance and inventory management are also key aspects of this position.

  • The Financial Accountant will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to inform business decisions.

  • This includes preparing weekly and monthly estimates, as well as advising on project funding estimates.

  • Additionally, the Financial Accountant will create Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and prepare weekly cash flow statements.

  • They will also be responsible for controlling expenditure and cash flow, and assisting with year-end accounts and statutory accounts.

  • Ongoing duties include responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.

  • The Financial Accountant will conduct internal audits, such as wage reviews, and examine financial records to ensure accuracy.

  • Management and training of staff may also be required.

  • Candidates should have experience working in a US-based business environment and be proficient in MS Excel.

  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

  • The ability to work flexible hours, including US timings, is also necessary.

  • AACCA/CA/ICMA qualification is highly desirable.
