The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process and verify invoices and expense reports in accordance with company policies.
  2. Manage the timely payment of vendor invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
  3. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
  4. Assist in month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
  5. Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  7. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferred). Chartered Accountant (C.A), C.A Inter & ACCA qualification are a plus.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP or similar applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
