Job Title: Visual Designer

Create visual solutions that capture the audience's attention and convey the desired message.

  • Responsibilities:
  • - Develop design concepts to meet project objectives.
  • - Work on a variety of products and activities such as websites, advertising, posters, exhibitions, corporate communications, and corporate identity.
  • - Demonstrate creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.
  • - Manage multiple design briefs simultaneously allocating time according to the value of the job.
  1. Key Responsibilities Include:
  2. - Meeting with the account manager to discuss project objectives and requirements.
  3. - Interpreting project business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose.
  4. - Estimating the time required to complete the work.
  5. - Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
  6. - Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
  7. - Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to the account manager.
  8. - Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
  9. - Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
  10. - Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches.
  11. - Working on layouts and preparing pages for print.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in emerging technologies in new media particularly design programs such as InDesign, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver, and Flash; developing interactive design commissioning illustrators and photographers.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role you must have a degree in Graphic Design or related field along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, proficiency in graphic design software Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
