Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation systems, with expertise in developing and executing test plans, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of automation systems;
  • Troubleshooting and resolving automation issues, optimizing system performance, and minimizing downtime;
  • Conducting regular system maintenance, including upgrades, backups, and configuration activities;
  • Providing training and support to operations teams on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems;
  • Documenting all processes, configurations, and changes related to automation systems.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field of automation. You should also have experience working with various PLC platforms, such as Schneider M580, Rockwell Control & Compact Logix, Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500, PCS-7, WinCC SCADA, WinCC OA SCADA, and TBOX RTU.

You should also have experience working with open communication protocols used in automation, such as Modbus Serial, Modbus RTU, BACnet MSTP, OPC, MQTT, DNP3, etc. Additionally, you should have familiarity with control panel wiring and instrumentation, and be able to read documents and drawings related to control systems.
