Category Management Excellence

As a skilled Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing sales growth, profitability, and product selection within our lighting portfolio. This role requires a proactive approach in competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and close collaboration with our marketing and data analysis teams to drive category-specific promotions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Category Development: Oversee product selection and optimization in functional, architectural, and decorative lighting categories.
  • Sales Growth & Profitability: Develop and execute strategies to boost sales and enhance profitability within each lighting category.
  • Pricing & Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis, assess price sensitivity, and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Utilize tools like Magento, Excel, and Google Analytics to monitor category performance and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Promotion Coordination: Collaborate with marketing and data analysis teams to design and launch category-specific promotions.
  • Vendor & Manufacturer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers to align product offerings with market demands.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in category management, especially in e-commerce, B2B, or wholesale environments.
  • Proficiency in Magento, Excel, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong skills in competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and sales growth techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
