Academic Leadership in Reproductive Health

Seeking an accomplished academic leader to spearhead educational initiatives and research endeavors in Reproductive Health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive curricula, developing specialized programs, and leading innovative research projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement educational curricula for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students.
  • Develop and continuously update specialized educational programs in Reproductive Health.
  • Lead research projects in Reproductive Health, secure funding, and participate in ongoing research endeavors.
  • Identify national and international funding opportunities to support Reproductive Health research projects and training programs.
  • Advocate for policies supporting reproductive and child health, engaging with policymakers and stakeholders.
  • Act as a pivotal contact for governments, facilitating the translation of research findings into actionable strategies.
Requirements:
  • Preferably an MBBS degree complemented by a FCPS/Ph.D. in Public Health with a specialization in Population Studies/Reproductive Health from a reputable university.
  • Preferably 10 years (or more) of teaching and research experience at a recognized university or postgraduate institution.
  • Skilled in planning and organizing curricula, with a strong grasp of research administration within educational settings.
  • Exceptional teaching abilities, with a deep knowledge of innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English and Urdu, with additional proficiency in local/regional languages considered a valuable asset.
  • Strong academic writing skills, capable of producing scholarly articles and grant proposals.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to build and sustain effective teams.
  • Proficient in computer software packages essential for research, teaching, and administrative duties.
