
Digital Client Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead client acquisition and project onboarding from platforms like Upwork and other freelance or direct sources.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing and managing digital projects, an understanding of technical service offerings, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and similar platforms, ensuring alignment with company strengths and strategic goals.
- Craft compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs, demonstrating clear value propositions.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform outreach strategies.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to scope project feasibility, prepare accurate cost estimates, and ensure smooth handover post-contract.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly lead-generation and conversion targets through consistent performance and strategic follow-up.
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales activity in CRM tools, providing timely and accurate reporting to the management.
- Optimize company profiles on Upwork and other platforms to increase visibility, trust, and inbound inquiries.
- Represent the company professionally in virtual meetings, negotiations, and all client communications.
- Explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize client value and revenue potential.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the IT, or digital services space.
- Hands-on experience with freelancing and service marketplaces such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital services (web development, SEO, design, UI/UX).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, negotiate and close deals.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
