Job Title: Billing Specialist - Vision Care

MEDS NEXUS is seeking a skilled Sr. A/R Specialist to join its team in Rawalpindi.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Insurance Verifications and Authorizations: Verify patient insurance coverage, process authorizations, and submit claims for payment.
  2. Account Management: Collect, post, and manage account payments from patients and insurance companies.
  3. Claims Submission and Follow-up: Prepare and submit vision claims daily via electronic or paper methods, process payments promptly, resolve billing complaints, and follow up on aging claims or delinquent accounts.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare and submit vision claims daily via electronic or paper methods.
  • Process payments from insurance companies promptly.
  • Resolve insurance and patient billing complaints.
  • Follow up on aging claims or delinquent accounts.
  • Participate in educational activities and attend monthly billing meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA/PHI regulations.

Skills and Experience:

  • A solid understanding of vision care billing and collection practices.
  • Knowledge of vision care payers' guidelines and submission processes.
  • Experience with Medicaid & MCD MCOs' claims processing.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate a computer, office equipment, and a multi-line phone system.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Medical Billing & A/R Management, preferably in a Vision Care Practice.
