Are you passionate about asset management? Do you have expertise in fixed asset accounting? We're looking for a Shared Services Leadership Role to join our team at DuPont. As a leader in our shared services team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Communicate with stakeholders through regular meetings and training sessions to drive business outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance on fixed asset accounting to global audiences, referencing our accounting policy.
  • Lead a team of accountants, defining growth plans and continuous improvement initiatives in lease and fixed asset accounting processes.
  • Oversee period closing, reporting, and successful data load into reporting tools, ensuring accurate depreciation and lease expenses analysis.
  • Ensure 10 K and 10 Q disclosure requirements are met, forecasting intangibles amortization.
  • Differentiate depreciation areas, including local GAAP, tax, US GAAP, and special adjustments handling per statutory law compliances.
  • Review and analyze IFRS, GAAP differences, and accounting standard guidelines.
  • Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls, and handle audit queries (external and internal) from a PI perspective.
  • Conduct Blackline reconciliations review of PI with relevant substantiations and ensure no un-reconciled transactions exist for reporting.
  • Handle escalations and ad-hoc requests, managing committed TAT.
  • Be prepared to take on project assignments with timely actions and high-quality results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • M.com / MBA / ICWA inter/ CA inter with 10-12 years of full-time experience in Fixed Asset accounting.
  • CMA (or) CA with 5 (or) 8 years of full-time accounting experience.
  • SAP (FI) asset accounting experience and end-user accounting knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Accounting flow and trouble-shooting experience in Asset accounting and R2R domain.
  • Well-versed in conference calls and timely email action.
