DuPont seeks a highly skilled Accounting Manager Shared Services to join its team in India. The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounting principles, including INDAS, AS, and IFRS standards.

About the Role

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, managing comprehensive audit processes, and handling financial statements, statutory audits, tax audits, and transfer pricing reporting. They will also oversee and facilitate the physical verification of inventory and fixed assets in compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess a sound knowledge of accounting principles and be proficient in INDAS, AS, and IFRS standards.
  • Have substantial experience in the preparation of financial statements and managing comprehensive audit processes.
  • Be responsible for the monthly closure of financial accounts in accordance with USGAAP standards.
  • Conduct monthly flux analysis and communicate findings to the Country Controller.
  • Collaborate with different teams to provide insights on complex accounting matters.
  • Support the business and functional for all accounting and other related questions and discussions.
  • Be knowledgeable about regulatory compliance, including TDS, TCS, GST, and other relevant regulations for Indian entities.
  • Review general ledger accounts to ensure their accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the business team to provide essential financial information that aids in decision-making.

Statutory Compliances

  • Must possess a strong understanding of regulatory compliance matters, including TDS returns, TDS computation, TCS, and GST.
  • Should collaborate with the Tax Team to address various notices received from the Income Tax Department, GST authorities, and other relevant entities.
  • Responsible for filing TDS returns and resolving any issues raised by the Income Tax Department.
  • Filing of yearly FLA (Foreign Assets & Liabilities) with RBI.
  • Should have a fair understanding of SEZ norms and help in filing APR (Annual Performance review) with SEZ Authorities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or relevant qualification with 2-4 years of experience
  • Sound knowledge of India GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS/IndAS
  • Understanding of Tax Provisions and Corporate Law related matters
  • Understanding SOX controls
  • Previous experience in Accounts Finalization
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
