Expert Pharmacy Services Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in various settings.
- Review physician orders to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Monitor lab results to prevent adverse drug interactions and optimize patient care.
- Ensure timely delivery of medications to patients and nursing units.
- Verify the accuracy of medication labels before dispensing.
- Maintain up-to-date records of medication expiry dates.
- Provide counseling to patients on prescription medications and monitor cash transactions.
- Prepare sterile injections, bulk compounding, and manage chemotherapy lists.
- Manage inventory and product expiry effectively.
- Doctorate or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Experience in retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy, preferably with traineeship.
- Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and standards.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical sciences.
- Understanding of locally available drugs, their indications, and pharmaceutical products.
- Effective communication skills with medical professionals.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
