A Paediatric Pharmacy Professional Opportunity Awaits
Job DescriptionWe seek a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatric Pharmacy Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Doctorate or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university, current registration with the pharmacy council, and at least one year of experience in a reputable organization.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of hospital pharmacy functioning and processes, sound knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical concepts. Excellent communication skills, particularly with medical professionals and patients, are essential for this role.
- Dispense drugs in the inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory pharmacies
- Review and process physician orders for accurate therapeutic doses
- Monitor laboratory reports for proper indication of antibiotics, drug-to-drug interactions, duplication of same class, etc.
- Ensure timely delivery of medication to nursing units and patients
- Ensure accuracy of labels before dispensing
- Complete expiry of drug lists accurately and on time
- Assist in patient counseling for outpatient prescriptions and maintenance of cash
- Prepare cytotoxic drugs, TPN solutions, IVPB mixtures, sterile injections, bulk compounding, and monitor chemo-critical lists
- Doctorate/Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university
- Current registration with pharmacy council Pakistan
- At least one year of experience in a reputable organization
- Familiarity with hospital pharmacy functioning and processes
- Sound knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical concepts
- Excellent communication skills, particularly with medical professionals and patients
