Customer Service Representative - Flight Booking Specialist

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and packages.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming calls from customers in an efficient and professional manner.

You will also be required to assist customers in booking travel arrangements according to their preferences and provide accurate information about travel destinations, prices, and availability.

Your goal will be to ensure a seamless travel booking process and promote customer satisfaction.

This position offers excellent opportunities for fresh graduates to kick-start their career in the consumer services industry.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

They will also possess strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and conflict resolution skills.

In addition, they will be able to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

A degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls from customers in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and packages according to their preferences.
  • Provide accurate information about travel destinations, prices, and availability.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
  • Upsell additional services, such as travel insurance, to enhance customer experience.
  • Ensure all bookings are accurately recorded and efficiently processed in the system.
  • Follow up with customers regarding any changes or updates to their travel itinerary.
  • Keep updated with industry trends and travel regulations to provide the most relevant information to customers.
  • Meet or exceed personal and team targets for customer satisfaction and sales.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in using computer systems and navigating multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
