Job Overview

This role revolves around implementing software activities for WASH in coordination with supervisors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough rapid assessments and analysis, supporting the transition of identified needs into activity plans and budgets.
  • Program Design and Implementation: Deliver the implementation of WASH response program aims and objectives in line with strategy, support concept paper development, letters of intent, proposals, and budgets for assigned areas.
  • Information and Coordination: Provide regular updates on progress, priorities, and challenges to the supervisor, participate in meetings, and represent the organization in governmental and non-governmental groups as needed.

The individual plans and implements WASH projects, fostering networks with stakeholders and donors. Ensures project monitoring, regular reviews, donor report preparation, capturing learnings, and close-out planning.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant technical specialization, preferably in water and sanitation engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • At least three years of work experience designing and implementing hygiene promotion systems, including two years in a humanitarian setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supervising international staff, partners, and donors, with a focus on managing national water, sanitation, and hygiene programs in complex settings.
