The Talent Enablement (TE) manager plays a pivotal role in empowering the University's employees through training and professional development, focusing on both learner needs and organisational requirements.
This critical position is essential to day-to-day learning activities within the TE team. The manager will independently coordinate all TE activities, partner with internal stakeholders, interact with employees, and collaborate with third-party training providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Strategies: Collaborate to develop and implement TE strategies and programmes that align with the University's objectives.
- Facilitate Key Programmes: Facilitate key TE programme offerings, including Talent Development programmes for high potential staff and orientations for new hires.
- Manage Communication: Independently manage communication of L&D strategies and employee participation across various TE programmes.
- Conduct Learning Needs Analysis: Conduct and analyse employee learning needs.
- Develop Onboarding Programmes: Independently develop and administer monthly onboarding programmes.
- Support Training Inquiries: Serve as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and advancements in learning technologies.
- Degree Requirement: Degree in Human Resources, Education, or Training, with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Interpersonal Skills: Enjoy interacting with people.
- Teamwork and Motivation: Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Facilitation Skills: Comfortable and proficient in facilitation skills.
