Financial Management Specialist Role

This pivotal position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and reporting across industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly review accounts receivable ledgers to ensure customer payments are accurately recorded and posted against invoices.
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers in a timely manner, including necessary supporting details and tax compliance.
  • Follow up on outstanding and overdue invoices via phone calls, emails, or official statements, maintaining professional communication with clients.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure consistency between the general ledger and customer records, investigating and resolving payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain complete, organized, and up-to-date records of all receivables transactions for internal use and audit purposes.
  • Support month-end closing processes by preparing AR-related journal entries, aging reports, and other necessary documentation.
  • Assist internal and external auditors by providing required documentation, explanations, and reconciliations pertaining to the accounts receivable function.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal control policies, company financial procedures, and external regulatory requirements related to revenue recognition, credit terms, and tax compliance.
  • Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns for various territories, ensuring accuracy in tax calculations and timely submission.
Requirements:
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) qualified or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable function, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Willingness to take on ad hoc assignments and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
