We are seeking an experienced CAD Library Manager to maintain a high-quality and efficient library of models and parts.

This role is ideal for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with 3D CAD skills looking to advance their career.

The successful candidate will work within the Warhead Applied Engineering team, creating, managing, and maintaining the AWE PLM CAD libraries to support the UK CASD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining a comprehensive CAD library of parts, symbols, and models
  • Conducting regular audits of the CAD library to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Implementing and enforcing quality control measures to maintain high standards
  • Supporting CAD standards and best practices across the organisation
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree, HNC/HND or an equivalent vocational qualification, in an engineering discipline supported by considerable practical experience
  • Experience in using Computer Aided Design systems
  • Experience and knowledge in Mechanical Engineering Design to produce fully defined engineering 3D models, drawings and associated specifications
  • Experience using PLM and CAD systems. Siemens Teamcenter and NX particularly desirable although further training will be provided if needed
  • Experience, knowledge and application of British, ISO and other industry standards
