Role Title: CAD (Computer Aided Design) Library Manager Specialist

  • Salary: £39,280 - £50,000
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining a comprehensive CAD library of parts, symbols, and models.

They will conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness, implement quality control measures, and support CAD standards across the organisation.

This role requires technical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and promoting high standards in ESH, security, and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience of:

  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Application and knowledge of Material selection
  • Proven experience in a Design Office environment
  • Proficient user of MS Excel
  • An ability to work with a range of stakeholders (technical & non-technical)

We require a degree, HNC/HND or an equivalent vocational qualification, in an engineering discipline supported by considerable practical experience.

Experience in using Computer Aided Design systems, PLM and CAD systems, Siemens Teamcenter and NX is desirable.
