Store Pharmacist Job Description

The Store Pharmacist plays a critical role in managing the storage, organization, and issuance of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods within the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize raw, packing material & FG stores to minimize storage space.
  • Maintain proper labeling and locking systems in warehouses and update checklists of all areas to ensure maintenance of critical parameters.
  • Manage complete stocks reconciliation of materials with production, ensuring no stock discrepancies, and perform monthly cycle counts to ensure timely adjustments on a weekly basis.
  • Issue raw and packing materials to manufacturing against relevant work orders, ensuring approved materials are issued with proper labeling, correct quantity, and within agreed lead times as specified in SOPs.
  • Ensure that materials are consumed before expiry and conduct timely inventory clean-ups of obsolete and unusable materials due to changes in specifications or formulations after necessary approvals.
  • Manage and reduce SLOB (Slow Moving Inventory), damages, and expiries in conjunction with inter-departmental communication.
  • Maintain warehouses according to CGMP requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to Quality Management System(s).
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by top management.
  • Execute warehouse operations as per DRAP requirements and regulations.
  • Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental corporate policy/procedures and applicable legal requirements.
  • Dispatch finished goods from healthcare and household sectors.
Requirements:

A candidate with Pharm-D qualifications and 1-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector is required. Knowledge of warehousing, ERP systems, and inventory management is essential.

Skills for Success:

ERP (Inventory Management), MS Office, Communication skills, and adaptability are crucial for this role.
