Job Description:

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Tax Authorities for the release of monthly sales tax refund claims and annual income tax refund claims.
  • Work closely with Tax Officers to issue appeals for favorable judgments of appellate fora and rectification orders.
  • Extract details for various FBR audits, including pre-refund sales tax audit, post-refund sales tax audit, annual sales tax audit, and annual income tax audit.
  • Monitor withholding income taxes and ensure timely payments.
  • Collaborate with Tax Lawyers and Consultants to resolve cases pending before appellate fora.
  • Prepare and file condonation claims for unpaid purchase invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the tax reporting process.
  • Manage tax-related initiatives by identifying, documenting, and executing tax policy requirements.
  • Compile monthly MIS reports for review by senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant fields. A CA or ACMA certification is also highly desirable.
