Customer Support Specialist
The primary goal of this role is to provide technical service and support to customers, ensuring their networks are stable and optimized. You will troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently, configuring and integrating different nodes and solutions in customer networks.
This position involves interacting with various stakeholders, including customer technical staff, operation managers, and other groups within the organization. You may also collaborate with sales, R&D, third-party suppliers, and local authorities.
To excel in this role, you need to be flexible, able to master multiple areas, and continually update your skills and knowledge. A broad understanding of telecom and datacom, covering hardware, software, and network knowledge, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Customer Issues: Provide dedicated support, 24x7, based on a roster.
- Lead and Resolve Technical Issues: Conduct root cause analysis and lead problem-solving efforts.
- Knowledge Management: Ensure accurate documentation and sharing of knowledge.
- Software Update Management (SUM): Handle SUM, load IPA/EPA/EP packages on Ericsson Core nodes.
- Drive CSR Review Meetings: Collaborate with SDM to drive review meetings.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain equipment to prevent issues.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Domain Experience
- CSCF, MTAS, SBG/BGF domains.
- MSC-S, M-MGW, STP/IP-STP domains.
- UDM domain: CUDB, HSS-FE, HLR-FE, EIR-FE.
- Understanding of call flows and protocols: MAP, SCCP, SIP, Diameter, LDAP.
- Troubleshooting of IMS/VoLTE call flows, SRVCC, and CS Fallback procedure.
- MOP preparation with impact analysis and execution.
- Cloud/Virtualization concepts and VNF/CNF Management.
- Team collaboration and presentation skills.
