Job Title: Chief Network Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Network Architect to lead our network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, building, and managing our enterprise network architecture to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain network services and applications
  • Develop and enforce network standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and security
  • Analyze network performance and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve network issues and optimize network operations
  • Manage network budget and resources to ensure efficient use of funds

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in network architecture and engineering
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, technologies, and security measures
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with cloud-based network infrastructure and security solutions
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools and scripts (Ansible, PHP, Python, Bash, Terraform)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in network architecture, engineering, or security
  • Experience with network monitoring and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Familiarity with containerization and microservices architectures
