Job Title

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to oversee our financial operations.

  • Financial Operations Oversight:
  • Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Perform variance analysis from budget to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate the preparation of year-end audit working papers, including assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenditures.
  • Participate in Board meetings as required, providing financial insights and expertise.
  • Collaborate with the external audit team to ensure seamless communication and access to critical information.
  • Review and distribute accurate and reliable financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, cash receipts, and accounts payable functions, providing support to team members as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of accounting procedures and policies, including databases and other financial processes.
  • Coach and develop accounting team members, reviewing work assignments and training requirements.
  • Authorize cheque preparation and review financial statements, reports, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and data backups.
  • Contribute to the team by taking on special projects and tasks as needed.
  • Monitor and manage reserve accounts and investments.
  • Stay current with regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices.
