About the Role:

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to lead the operation and maintenance of complex systems, ensuring efficient and effective functioning. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, monitor, and control the operation, maintenance, project functions, resources, and staff with invaluable knowledge in an effective and efficient manner.
  2. Design mechanical and electrical systems, implement timely modifications to meet process requirements, and manage capex projects within timelines through effective control of cash flows.
  3. Evaluate critical store items to keep machines operational, develop QEMs for material selection, and follow up on deliveries by maintaining a critical machine parts list and updating statuses regularly.
  4. Manage contractors to execute project jobs within timelines and budgets, including developing contracts for petty jobs, evaluating contractor bids, QEMs, and billings.
  5. Lead teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities, and civil departments, promote best practices, provide technical guidance, and build effective teams.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, share ideas for energy conservation and process optimization, prepare feasibility reports and BOQs, oversee procurement, and ensure safe project execution within stipulated timelines.
  7. Coordinate with stakeholders, procure cost-effective substitutes of import items, and ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-efficient business operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering
  • Prior experience in petrochemical, fertilizer, process, food, or cement industries
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in O&M of electrical & mechanical installations
  • Deep knowledge of O&M, maintenance methodologies, reliability management, and people development
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Lean Six Sigma, MS Office, ETAB, AutoCAD, Power BI
  • Understanding of international standards such as EHS, IMS, GPM, ISO, and Food Safety
