Remote Software Engineering Manager

DigitalTolk is an organization dedicated to making a positive impact by giving a voice to those who don't speak the local language. We coordinate interpreters so that patients can receive medical treatment and communicate with healthcare providers in their new country, and assist crime victims in obtaining justice.

We connect our customers with qualified interpreters to hospitals, courts, lawyers, and municipalities communicating with refugees and others in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and Enhance Workflows: Develop and improve workflows within your team to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Build, Lead, and Develop Your Team: Foster a high-performing engineering team through guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Onboarding Process: Design a smooth onboarding process for new team members, including comprehensive training.
  • Collaboration and Delivery: Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results efficiently.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Team Culture: Create a fun and engaging workplace for our international engineering team.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of industry experience, including 4 years as a developer and 2 years as an Engineering Manager responsible for system design and implementation.
  • Experience managing at least four individuals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with performance management and salary reviews.
  • Self-driven, energetic, and passionate about nurturing high-performing teams.
