Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Android software engineer to design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.

About the Role

  • Design and Development: Create innovative and user-friendly applications for the Android platform, utilizing expertise in design and code.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineers, programmers, systems analysts, and other team members to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources and APIs to enhance application functionality.
  • Unit Testing: Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability.
  • Bug Fixing and Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bugs, and improve application performance.
  • Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Software Upgrades and Maintenance: Upgrade and maintain existing software to improve performance, correct errors, and adapt to new hardware.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather information on project capabilities and limitations.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a reputable university.
  • Development Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Android App Development or Mobile App Development.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Google's Android design principles and guidelines, working knowledge of emerging mobile technologies, and proficiency with application and computer servers.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
