Procurement Manager Job Description">

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the procurement process for projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, including sourcing plans and contract management frameworks.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to execute procurement activities, such as vendor pre-qualification and contract award.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, including public sector procurement rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor shipping costs, negotiate favorable terms, and optimize transportation routes to minimize expenses.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Continuously review and improve procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with procurement activities.
  • Develop and implement risk response strategies.

Requirements:

  • MBA or Master's in Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 9 years of working experience in government, semi-government, or reputable corporate organizations.
