Senior SAP Production Planning Consultant

Are you an expert in supply chain management and production planning? We are seeking a skilled Senior SAP Production Planning Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PP solutions across our global operations.

This is a strategic role involving end-to-end ownership of manufacturing and planning solutions, integration with other SAP modules, and collaboration with business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP PP and SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).

The responsibilities of this role include leading the configuration and implementation of SAP PP and SAP PP/DS solutions, designing and optimizing production planning processes including MRP, capacity planning, and detailed scheduling, implementing and supporting Handling Unit Management for discrete and repetitive manufacturing scenarios, designing and maintaining Variant Configuration models, characteristics, dependencies, and object dependencies.

The successful candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with CO, MM, SD, WM, and QM modules, participate in blueprinting, gap analysis, and requirement gathering with business users, develop functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, and reports, support data migration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and go-live activities, provide end-user training and post-go-live support, and stay updated with SAP S/4HANA innovations and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration and support.
  • At least 2 full-cycle SAP PP implementation projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Flexibility to travel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
