Are you passionate about driving category growth and making a lasting impact in the industry? We're seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead our Commodities team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.

About the Role

  • You will have a minimum of one year of experience working with the Rice or Oil & Ghee category, either in sales, purchasing, or category management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Experience working with Google Sheets/Excel and able to create reports and dashboards to drive category performance.

Responsibilities

  • Travel extensively across Pakistan to negotiate with vendors, visit markets, and conduct procurement-related activities.

  • Procure and ensure availability of inventory while building strong supplier relationships.

    • Forecast demand, manage purchase cycles, and prevent stockouts/overstocking.

    • Monitor margins and control pricing.

    • Analyze dashboards and reports to drive category performance.

    • Recommend product additions or delistings based on sales insights.

    • Align suppliers with our mission, share performance reports, and track target achievement.
