**Job Title:** Procurement Strategist

Job Overview

To develop comprehensive financial plans that account for market risks and opportunities within the overall corporate framework.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately phasing sales, stock, margin, markdown, and in-take plans and projections on a weekly basis, taking into consideration prevailing market trends.

Develop new suppliers and maintain genuine, sustainable partnerships with existing ones. Review brand/supplier performance and profitability.

Plan and execute departmental and divisional promotions in line with the group promotional plan. Ensure coordination between Category Buyers and Store Operations and Customer Marketing.

Regular market visits for price monitoring, customer visits to identify needs, and filling assortment gaps accordingly. Coordination with suppliers and managing their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop section financial plans considering market risks and opportunities.
  • Accurately phase sales, stock, margin, markdown, and in-take plans and projections.
  • Develop new suppliers and maintain partnerships.
  • Review brand/supplier performance and profitability.
