Senior Database Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing high-performance database systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing large-scale database systems that meet the needs of distributed applications
  • Collaborating with product management and engineering teams to define product requirements and develop solutions
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of database internals and performance optimization techniques
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers on database-related topics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in database engineering
  • Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
  • Experience with C/C++ programming languages and Linux operating system
  • Familiarity with data ingestion from distributed sources such as Apache Kafka
  • Strong understanding of multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization in large-scale systems
  • Knowledge of database internals and query optimization techniques

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time employment opportunity
