Business Analyst Job Summary

This is a challenging business analyst role that requires a unique blend of technical, analytical and business skills.

Job Description:

As a business analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote an innovative and agile model to ensure cutting-edge technology for sales transformation and analytics projects.
  • Understand, map, and meet client requirements; lead analysis workshops and guide clients towards desired outcomes.
  • Define functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and estimates with rigorous risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into technical tasks.
  • Engage clients in user acceptance strategy, planning, and execution.
  • Demonstrate autonomous analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understand the client's business (CPG) and communicate how data issues impact decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or an Analytical subject.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record as a Business Analyst with a focus on analytical work.
  • Ability to work with data, manipulate it, and communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in managing functional workshops and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Capability to handle the full project lifecycle, including mobilization, process design, system configuration & customization, testing, integration, data migration, deployment, and adoption.
  • Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Background in FMCG commercial processes such as Trade Promotion Management, Retail Execution, Sales Force Automation, or Revenue Growth Management is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python is a plus.
  • Client-centric approach and attitude.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical workstreams.
  • Strong creative thinking and presentation skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
