Project Officer Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our team. As a Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of project activities in designated districts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting field assessments either independently or as part of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Mobilizing, engaging, and liaising with project partners, especially universities, government officials, media, and targeted community members for their support in implementing project activities.
  • Developing a knowledge base and relevant content for arranging mobilization activities, capacity building, social media campaigns, and other related activities.
  • Ensuring strong documentation and timely reporting of programs. Providing support in preparing reports, lessons learned documentation, stories of change, and other program-related documentation when required.
  • Collecting, managing, and maintaining program data in both soft and hard copies in a timely manner.
  • Built long-term relationships through networking and promoting project activities with relevant stakeholders.
  • Supporting the program team in organizing visits.
  • Providing support to the project team in achieving results of the project.
  • Cordinating the organization of meetings, workshops, conferences, trainings, and related activities relevant to the implementation of the Project.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in social sciences or any relevant field of education.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' work experience in the development sector, especially in implementing projects on themes including rule of law, democratic just governance, gender-based violence, youth development, and citizens' engagement.
  • At least half of which should have been related to coordination, project management, community outreach, government liaison, and organizing events.
  • Active social media user, especially Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and vlogging on different social and political issues.
  • Understanding and skills around program management & reporting.
  • Proactive in communication & information sharing.
  • Working experience on migration issues and projects.

Languages: Excellent command of English and Urdu – verbal and written
