Job Title: Lead Technical Support Engineer

The Lead Technical Support Engineer is a senior subject matter expert providing complex technical support for various products and services. As an L4 support engineer, they troubleshoot complex issues or product-level bugs that technical support engineers cannot resolve.

They manage high-level cases, provide leadership to the technical support team, mentor, train, and coach other technical support engineers to develop their skills and expertise.

The key responsibilities include collaborating with engineering teams across the company to identify and address technical issues affecting customers.

Additionally, they drive continuous improvement in the technical support process by analyzing trends in customer issues, creating new support processes, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deep understanding of products, analysis, and diagnosis of complex issues with effective solutions.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues and product-level limitations not resolvable by technical support engineers.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for internal and external use.
  • Cross-department collaboration to resolve technical issues affecting customers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams.
  • Leadership and mentoring to technical support engineers to improve technical skills.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of technical support.
