Software Development Specialist

National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited is a significant institution of Pakistan's Capital Market providing clearing and settlement services to all three stock exchanges in the country.

Job Requirements
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field such as BCIT.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and test software programs according to company requirements.
  2. Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement technical designs.
  3. Perform programming tasks adhering to company standards and processes.
  4. Test and debug programs to identify faults and resolve issues efficiently.
  5. Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects promptly.
  6. Solve complex problems through analytical thinking and teamwork to meet project objectives.
  7. Stay updated on new skills in various programming languages and development environments.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders within the project scope.
  9. Assist in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software programs.
  10. Provide guidance to junior developers on design issues during development and testing phases.
  11. Support the team lead/BA in defining business and project scope.
  12. Contribute to developing internal and external design specifications.
  13. Offer post-implementation and ongoing production support.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, along with a proactive approach, ability to handle pressure and time constraints, and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
