Software Architect

The Role in Detail

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale web-based architectures.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that solutions become a reality, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and delivering high-quality results. You will also be involved in deep-dive technical workshops, sales presentations, and providing guidance and oversight to your team.

You will have expertise in designing complex projects, translating customer requirements into effective designs, and creating technical architecture documentation. Additionally, you will work with the QA lead to define the test strategy and lead DevOps to define and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement large-scale web-based architectures
  • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs
  • Deliver high-quality results through deep-dive technical workshops and sales presentations
  • Provide guidance and oversight to the development team
  • Create technical architecture documentation
  • Work with the QA lead to define the test strategy
  • Lead DevOps to define and implement CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the Java platform
  • Experience with Spring, Maven, and Jenkins
  • Demonstrable understanding of Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Micro-Services Architecture
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, MVC patterns, and REST APIs
  • Professionally worked with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks
  • Broad operational knowledge of application servers, databases, load balancers, and other infrastructure components required to deploy web applications in a highly available and scalable environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with financial services, especially banking
  • Familiarity with Portal/Web Content Management
  • Knowledge of architectural patterns such as Microservices, CQRS, event sourcing
  • Experience with server virtualization and containers technology such as Docker, VMWare, HyperV
  • Professionally used Integration Platforms, API Gateway
