Job Opportunity: Senior Flight Reservations and Ticketing Agent

This role requires a highly skilled professional with in-depth knowledge of the travel industry to join our Back Office 'Flight Operations Team'. The team operates 24/7, 365 days a year and is responsible for handling flight bookings and ticket issuance that are not covered by automation.

As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Modifying flight reservations and tickets that cannot be handled online.
  • Understanding and applying the best fares possible for domestic and international flights.
  • Multi PCC and Multi GDS shopping to reduce fares.
  • Performing Quality Control checks to ensure all bookings adhere to flight rules.
  • Monitoring and identifying issues with booking and ticketing systems.
  • Creating and updating profiles and invoicing.
  • Building PNRs, creating itineraries, checking basic and advance availability, reading fare rules, and ensuring all tickets are issued by deadlines.
  • Booking and Ticketing optimisation, reissuing, voiding, cancelling, and re-booking flights to gain additional savings.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fluency in English at a B2 level.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role from OTA or Flights Background.
  • Awareness and experience in the travel industry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Military service completion or exemption.
  • Flexibility with rotational shifts and days off.
  • Ability to multitask and work in stressful situations.
