
Credit Management Professional

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of autonomy and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credit management and business controls.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the Accounts Receivable function, including reconciliation of customer accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
- Management of unapplied credit balances and handling of Income Tax Deduction Certificates and adjustments in customer accounts.
- Conduct of balance confirmation letter activity twice a year and implementation of group AR policy.
- Release of credit orders according to DOA, considering overdue status from the commercial team.
- Performance of risk screening using D&B Portal when creating or changing customer account status, updating in CDMS.
- Adjustment of Credit Limit and Payment Terms in system based on business requirements using CDMS & CCMS.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of credit management principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years in Credit and Business Controls, with a qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or MBA in Finance from a reputable organization.
- Experience in managing debtors' aging reports, forecasting collections, and coordinating with commercial teams.
- Strong knowledge of credit management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
