Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Credit Manager. This position involves overseeing the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring timely collections and maintaining accurate customer records.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Supervise the quarterly activity of FOC (Final Opportunity Call) to ensure all customers are contacted for payment.
    • Manage unapplied credit balances and handle Income Tax Deduction Certificates and adjustments in customer accounts.
    • Conduct balance confirmation letter activity twice a year and implement group AR policy.
    • Release credit orders according to DOA (Days Outstanding), considering overdue status from the commercial team.
    • Perform risk screening using D&B Portal when creating or changing customer account status, updating in CDMS.
    • Adjust Credit Limit and Payment Terms in system based on business requirements using CDMS & CCMS.
    • Remove credit limits from inactive and disputed accounts.
    Key Performance Indicators

The ideal candidate will be able to manage debtors' aging reports, forecast collections based on DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and outstanding balances from the previous year, and coordinate with the commercial team to chase DSO and collections for the relevant period.

  • Responsibilities Include:
    • Managing payment schedules, expected provisions, and debtor aging reports.
    • Collaborating with the commercial team to secure payments and reduce provisions.
    • Reviewing open documents at month-end to identify material returned cases for follow-up.
    • Managing write-off cases and liaising with legal teams in case of customer disputes.
    • Blocking or unblocking inactive accounts as required.
    • Incorporating credit notes following DOA.
    • Providing data to internal and external auditors.
    • Finalizing collection incentives for the commercial team.
    • Removing freight and shade charges from the system.
    • Performing YPCM and month-end controls, including running specific T-codes.
    • Releasing debit notes for scrap.
    • Supporting testing processes in the quality server.
    Business Controls

The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining Key Control Framework (KCF) under global controllership, following up on action points, completing risk questionnaires, coordinating with global controllership for policy clarifications and best practices, and adhering to local DOA policies.
