BIM Project Specialist

BIM Modeling Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
- Ensure the integration of all project information into the BIM models, adhering to project specifications and standards, including ISO 19650.
- Update and revise BIM models as required to reflect changes in project design or construction requirements.
- Assist in clash detection and resolution, ensuring that the models are free from conflicts.
- Work closely with design, construction, and project teams to incorporate their inputs into the BIM models.
BIM Data Management Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage BIM data within a Common Data Environment (CDE) such as BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Support the documentation process by extracting 2D drawings and schedules from the BIM models.
- Communicate effectively with project personnel, including both BIM team and Project team, to gather information and clarify modeling requirements.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings to discuss and resolve modeling issues (if required).
Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of BIM models by conducting regular reviews and adhering to BIM standards, ISO 19650 guidelines, and project specifications.
- Implement quality control processes to maintain the integrity of the models throughout the project lifecycle.
