Job Overview

This is a technical role that requires strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and experience in the built environment.

  • Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional customer service to meet client expectations
  2. Evaluate and prioritize maintenance work orders
  3. Manage the maintenance database for efficient handling of requests
  4. Supervise major works to ensure high-quality workmanship
  5. Analyze root cause faults and assess proposed rectifications with technicians
  6. Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to maintain building procedures and performance measures
  7. Coordinate day-to-day operations of facilities management
  8. Liaise between property owners, tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  9. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues
  10. Schedule routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  11. Cultivate vendor relationships, including obtaining quotes and negotiating contracts
  12. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service contracts
  13. Provide regular reports to management on facility performance and maintenance activities
Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Bachelor's in engineering

Proficient in both written and spoken English

Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with various stakeholders

Extensive experience in the built environment, with a solid understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general handyman tasks

Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to focus on meeting performance targets

Strong problem-solving skills, capable of effectively resolving complex issues in ambiguous situations

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Adept at prioritizing and managing operational works efficiently and within deadlines

Quick to learn and adapt to utilizing required software
