Network and Systems Administrator

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Maintain and manage computer systems, networks, and servers.
    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and services.
    • Implement security measures to protect data and systems.
    • Regularly back up data and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place.
    • Collaborate with IT professionals to enhance system functionality.
    • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization technologies (VMware).
  • Experience with network security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members from different departments.
