Software Engineering Leadership Opportunity

The Lead Software Engineer would be working on a SaaS platform project, leading the development effort using technologies such as JAVA, PHP, and Flex. This is a regular morning shift position with excellent compensation.

Key responsibilities include writing high-quality code, collaborating with front-end and back-end developers for developing rapid prototype concepts and gathering feedback metrics, working closely with leadership and product strategy team, understanding requirements from Product Manager and recommending solutions, evaluating technology alternatives and recommending design improvements, conducting peer code reviews, evaluating existing architectures for effectiveness and advising on architecture for newer features on current platforms, providing technical engineering advice and guidance to junior team members.

Responsibilities:
  1. Excellent coding skills.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for developing prototypes and collecting feedback.
  3. Work closely with leadership and product strategy teams.
  4. Understand requirements from Product Managers and recommend solutions.
  5. Evaluate technology options and suggest design improvements.
  6. Conduct peer code reviews.
  7. Evaluate existing architectures and advise on new feature implementations.
  8. Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Job Requirements:
  1. 5-6 years of software engineering/architecture experience.
  2. Experience in SaaS platform development using open-source technologies.
  3. Leadership experience in taking projects from start to finish.
  4. Good knowledge of web frameworks.
  5. Strong database design and architecture skills.
  6. Advanced JAVA and PHP programming skills required.
  7. Familiarity with global industry best practices.
  8. Good communication skills in English.
