Faculty Position in Computer Science

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic educationist to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching, with a strong publication record and ability to design and develop curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching: Deliver lectures, prepare course materials, and evaluate students' performance through exams, assignments, and other assessments.
     
    - Teach undergraduate and graduate courses with effective communication and presentation skills.
    - Design and develop curriculum that meets academic standards.
  • Research: Conduct original research in your area of expertise, publish academic articles and books, and present your findings at conferences.
     
    - Maintain a strong research background with publications in reputable journals.
    - Stay updated with research methodologies and statistical analysis.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Service Skills: Ability to serve on departmental and university committees, participate in academic advising and mentoring.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead research teams, collaborate with colleagues, and take on leadership roles in the department or university.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to work with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with educational technology and online platforms, proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and balance teaching, research, and service responsibilities.
Desirable Qualities:
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing academic landscape and priorities.
Eligibility:

Motivated and enthusiastic educationists with at least 5 years of experience may apply. Those meeting the HEC criteria for Associate Professor may be considered for an Associate Professor Post.
