Job Opportunity: Senior Backend Developer

We're seeking an exceptional technical powerhouse to join our team. This isn't a role for everyone, and that's by design. We're looking for developers who know they're exceptional and have the track record to prove it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ship complex features in half the time it takes others.

  • Write clean code that could be published as a tutorial.

  • Elevate the entire codebase with pride.


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js and Nest.js.

  • Production experience with backend frameworks in high-scale environments.

  • Expertise in relational and non-relational databases.

  • Write and maintain backend and API code to support platform functionality.

  • Ensure seamless data integration and manage relationships across complex data tables for various user roles.

  • Advanced knowledge of MongoDB and/or MySQL, with strong database design, administration, and optimization skills.

  • Strong experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.

  • Proficient in client-side scripting, JavaScript frameworks, and handling cross-browser compatibility issues.

  • Experience with version control systems like Git and an understanding of CI/CD pipelines.


Benefits:

  • This is a fully remote position.

  • Compensation will be in USD.

  • Work hours are aligned with the EST time zone (9 AM to 6 PM EST / 6 PM to 3 AM Pakistan time), or PT Time Zone.


Additional Information:

  • Familiarity with automated testing platforms, unit testing, and end-to-end testing is a plus.

  • Strong appreciation for clean, well-documented, and maintainable code is essential.
