Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Tutor to support schoolchildren with their academic studies via live chat support and whiteboard system.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality educational support, answering student queries, and assisting students with homework using the Socratic method.

About the Role

  1. Support schoolchildren with their academic studies via live chat support and whiteboard system.

  2. Provide high-quality educational support, answer student queries, and assist students with homework using the Socratic method.

  3. Help students understand theories from their syllabus with relevant examples.

  4. Use the whiteboard tools to answer students' questions.

  5. Upload sample materials and prepare content, sample questions, and examples.

  6. Collect helpful feedback on the platform and student engagement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with expertise in at least one of the subjects we support (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English).

  • Comfortable using a computer device.

  • A high standard of ethics, hard work, and openness to new approaches.

  • A willingness to understand the UK curriculum and be responsive to training approaches.

  • A clean criminal record without convictions and the right to work with children.
